The Friends is a group of citizens of West Boylston and other towns who understand the importance of library service to the community. They work in a variety of ways to help improve the library by providing funding for programming, technology, the Museum Pass Program and other expenses not covered in the municipal budget. They also  are important advocates for the library.

Membership runs from January through December each year. Show your support for the Library. Join the Friends today by filling in this form and returning it to the Library with your membership fee.

Membership dues provide museum passes for places to visit, like Davis Farmland, Tower Hill Botanic Garden, The Ecotarium, Old Sturbridge Village, Worcester Art Museum among others. These places can enhance your reading with real life images of scenery, botany, or other events that each provides to their patrons. The Friends of the Library membership funds are used to purchase these museum passes and much more. You might have seen a thermometer in the Library lobby showing the membership amount raised for this year, we had a goal of $10,000 and at the time of writing this article we were within $1,200 of reaching it.  If you have missed the opportunity to assist us in this goal, it’s not too late, and if you helped us get this far, we would like to thank you! Please keep in mind that we need your help each year to make these wonderful adventures possible.
